Nineteen and 49

I completed and submitted my nineteenth short story of the year this afternoon, a 13,500-word bit of crime fiction. Moments later it became my 49th acceptance of the year. (Like my previous acceptance, this one's a bit of a cheat: I'm co-editor of the project for which the story was written.)

"The Fishmonger's Wife" in the Winter 2019 Pulp Literature; "Wishing Tree" in the January/February 2019 Ellery Queen's Mystery Magazine; "Little Bubba Visits the Roadhouse" in EconoClash Review #3; and "Deliver Us from Evil" in Thriller Magazine #2.

I received my 48th acceptance of the year this afternoon, for a bit of crime fiction. This acceptance is a bit of a cheat though: I'm the editor of the anthology.
