I received my 20th acceptance of the year earlier today, for a confession I mailed off on the 6th.

Did you ever go back and compare your sales this year to prior years to see if you were making more high ticket sales to balance the overall lower number of sales?
If not, your experience must reflect shrinking markets for the rest of us mere mortals who will never be as prolific as you either in terms of production or sales!
Anonymous: Even though it isn't a perfect comparison--that would require me to pull records for every story sold for the past couple of years--a quick look at my records indicates that my income from fiction year-to-date is up 14.15% over the same period last year.
