Five years of fiction

I have reached a milestone that I think few other writers--especially writers too young to have written for the pulps--have achieved: I have had one or more pieces of short fiction published every month for 60 consecutive months.

That's five years of fiction.

Dare I hope for six?

I don't think there's any limit to how many years you can hope for ... you make your own luck by working so hard and producing so much!

Thanks, y'all.

Yes, you can hope.

However, one wonders if the streak can be maintained. Not becuase your skills are weakening. The markets certainly are and seem to be in massive distress. Depending on what happens, it would not suprise me at all to see massive collapses in publishing. It won't get the coverage it deserves if and when it happens.

Belated congrats. May the streak continue. I had a run like that in the Eighties, but it was only three years or so, not five.
