Story One

I finished and submitted my first short story of the year, a 4,500-word confession tied to Mother's Day. I started writing this on January 7, finished writing it late last night, and let it sit until this morning for a final proofread/edit before submitting it.

Being prolific must be nice! I would say good luck, but, I don't think you will need it.

I'm off to a slow start. Kevin. Last year I completed an average of 1.4 stories a week. I'm already 10 days into this year and I've only completed one!

Realistically, though, speed of writing isn't as important as quality of writing, and every writer works at a different pace.
